Recently, Lil Wayne cut his performance short due to a conflict with his DJ which caused an uproar of the audience. The performance which occurred in Florida at the Nova Southeastern University concert, was captured and shows Wayne throwing his microphone to the floor before storming off stage.
It is said that Wayne got upset with his DJ because he played the O.T. Genasis version of the song “CoCo” instead of Wayne‘s remix, which appears on Wayne‘s latest collection “Sorry For The Wait 2” mixtape.
In the video, the crowd is heard chanting the chorus to Wayne‘s version of “Coco“. The moment he realized that he wasn’t rapping on his version, he paused questioning his team behind him and then in anger dropped the microphone and went for the stage’s exit. It is unclear whether or not the rapper returned to the stage.
